This product is a little more powerful than the ThreeLac. The differences between the two products are the addition of acidophilus and longum bacteria to the FiveLac formulat in addition to the bacteria the the ThreeLac contains. This product does seem to be a help if people are struggling with constipation issues. It does have some lactose in it, so lactose intolerant people may not tolerate it well. We recommend starting with the ThreeLac, in most cases, and moving over to the FiveLac toward the end of your cleanse as it will help recolonize your beneficial bacteria.

Active Ingredients in FiveLac
Bacillus Coagulans: This unique microorganism proved effective in lowering cholesterol by 104 points in a three-month study performed at the G.B. Pant hospital in New Delhi, India. There was a highly significant reduction in the LDL cholesterol levels, and a small but significant increase in HDL cholesterol levels. Use of this microorganism is an attractive alternative to drug therapy since there are no side effects. Bacillus subtilis: A probiotic organism that may combat harmful microorganisms in the intestines.
Enterococcus Faecalis: This bacteria is classified in the streptococcus group. There is a streptococcus group (D) that has some non-beneficial long term results, but the streptococcus group that is used in the ThreeLac is NOT from that group. According to GHT, the exact group classification is proprietary since the streptococcus group list is a long one. GHT is not willing to release this information in the event that the competition could figure it out and produce a similar product. This type of faecalis is a safe one.
Lactobacillus acidophilus: These friendly bacteria inhabit the intestinal tract and protect against unhealthy organisms. The breakdown of nutrients by L. acidophilus produces lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and other by-products to enhance optimal intestinal flora.
Bifidobacterium longum: B. longum may help keep the digestive system running smoothly, block the growth of harmful bacteria, and boost the immune system.
